Booking and Payments

A booking form and occupancy list must be completed and sent to Abbot's House Farm at the address on the forms, along with a deposit or payment in full. Full payment must be received at least one calendar month before before your booking to secure your place. We can take bookings and payments over the phone, most cards are accepted, however your booking cannot be completed until both the booking form and occupancy list have been received.

All bookings must be paid for in advance and both booking and occupancy forms must be received before taking occupancy.
The bunkhouse barn is a family facility, although groups of scouts, guides or Duke of Edinburgh groups are welcome to stay with their leaders.

Please drink responsibly and respect our property, and other customers by keeping quiet after 11pm.This is not a party venue. Leave the barn as clean and tidy as you found it.
Nightly occupancy begins at 5pm and finishes at 10am daily. Daytime occupancy is charged separately at £95 per day or part thereof.

A refundable £10 key deposit is required on arrival. Keys can be collected from Reception between 5pm and 9pm.
 

A damage and house-keeping deposit is now required with every booking;

this will be refunded within seven (7) days if no damage to the building, contents or surrounds is evident, or excessive cleaning is required after occupancy.  In the event of damages, an invoice will be sent to the occupier/party organiser, and the balance (or excess cost) will be refunded/charged to your credit/debit card. Cancellation Policy

Please ensure you have holiday cancellation insurance in place, if required, as its cost is not included in the price of the accommodation.

Cancellation only takes effect on receipt of written confirmation (in order that accommodation may be re-let).

If the accommodation is unable to be re-let, all monies paid shall be forfeited.

If the accommodation is re-let, monies received, less the deposit, may be refunded, (following the period of the booking).

The deposit will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled, in all cases.

All outstanding balances are due on cancellation, unless the accommodation is re-let.

BOOKINGS  BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD: The card may be charged for the outstanding amount if the booking is cancelled, in the event  the accommodation is not re-let. A deduction, in this case,  will be made for unused service, eg heat/light/power.

Refusal to accept booked accommodation may be treated as a cancellation.

In the unlikely event that Abbot's House Farm has to cancel the booking, every effort will be made to find alternative accommodation or refund all monies paid in full, without further liability.
