Goathland
Goathland is a small village in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors and has recently been used as a location for the TV series, Heartbeat.
The village has a Post Office, General Store, Craft and Souvenir shops and small cafes. Several hotels have a full licence and offer lunches, evening meals and bar snacks.
A great collection of aerial photos shows the village’s stunning geography here.
See ITV's Heartbeat TV series at retro wow for more info on this long running TV show, and more sixties, seventies and eighties stuff.
