Essential, and you must pay in advance. Please call to check for availability.
DO I HAVE
TO BOOK A PITCH?
No. there
is always plenty of space. The site is
never full, except maybe at August Bank Holiday weekend, at which time, it’s first come gets the best pitch! A ‘site full’ sign will be posted if the need
arises.
WHY DON’T
YOU ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR CAMPING?
Because
quite often people don’t turn up after booking, lots are ‘last minute’ and
serve no purpose, We don’t reserve specific pitches
either. Just turn up with your tent!

NEW from
2007; yes, we now accept all major credit/debit cards at reception, and we can
accept card payments over the phone. There is a small charge for credit card
and cheque payments.
We can
also accept card payment on-line for items you wish to pay for in full, i.e.
advance bookings. See web pages.
There is
a cash machine inside Goathland Post Office.

WHAT
FACILITIES DO YOU HAVE?
The usual
sanitary provision. On field WC’s and
wash-up sink. Showers/WC attached to
bunkhouse barn.
Note we
are a farm site, no club house/play room/chip shop/televisions/playground/bingo
hall/casino. Enjoy the beauty of the moors.
WHY CAN’T
WE FIND YOUR SITE?
Sometimes,
when Yorkshire TV take over the village for filming, our property is renamed ‘Jessops Farm’ but it’s still in the same place, next to
